Luminox is a Switzerland based watch manufacturer founded in 1989.  First appealing to the sports market, Luminox was then rebuilt to create a watch for U.S Navy SEALs, called the Original SEAL Dive Series 1.  This watch became an instant success.

Luminox watches, as derived from their name, all have glow in the dark watch heads, powered by tiny gas lights.
