TAG Heuer Watches

TAG Heuer, a Swiss watchmaking company, was founded by Edouard Heuer in 1860. They are best known for their sports watches and chronographs, and are credited with inventing the crown-winding mechanism for pocket watches. TAG Heuer has won many awards, including two iF product design award.

Concentrating on chronographs, TAG Heuer offers multiple different lines, including Formula One, Aquaracer, Link, Carrera, Monaco, and others, while also featuring some less expensive models in each line lacking chronograph features. Recently, the company has developed watches that will measure and display time to 1/100th of a second, and also a watch that is being driven by belts rather than gears.

TAG Heuer watches have also made history, being the first watch in space (John Glenn wore a Heuer stopwatch onboard the Mercury Atlas 6), and being worn by Steve McQueen in the 1971 film “Le Mans”. Further, TAG Heuer is developing a watch for the Mercedes-Benz SLR.
